the redirecting of injury cases and the proposed limitation on statute for filing would create more distance between patient need and medical follow-through. -

This bill would take all oversight and erase it so there would be no ability for injured workers to seek redress. Insurance carriers will use this to significantly lower treatment and disability payments. This will cost the state significantly more as injured workers are left to fend for themselves and are unable to get the care they need, and are constitutionally promised. This back room deal was crafted by lobbyists who were paid off by the insurance carriers. This simply can not be allowed to happen. -

this bill would put so many small businesses out of work, as if the economy weren’t so bad already! as usual the injured employee would be left worse off. -

This is a bad anti-worker bill. This would give EDD great power over the meager benefits that California injured workers receive. Call your legislator and urge them to vote no on this bill. -

It does not fix the problems it claims to address, it takes away one of California’s injured workers’ few avenues to fight for their rights to medical treatment, and it will absolutely cost thousands of jobs. Including mine.
